  • Why is the wax pooling in the middle (tunneling)?
Whenever you light a candle, you must let it burn to the edge of the jar before snuffing out the flame. This usually takes 1 - 2 hours. Meltdown Candles recommends each burn be for a minimum of 1 hour, and not exceed 4 hours. Allowing the candle to burn to the edge will ensure it burns clean and evenly down. When the wax cools and sets again, it will do so evenly and without a tunnel.
